Personal Logo 1

In the AMD 409 Advanced Graphic Design course at California State University San Marcos, my instructor gave me a project to design personal logos. In his syllabus, he wanted us to design three different logo solutions: Type only, Type & Illustration, and Image Only. The first personal logo was my initials “WLB” in different typefaces. The “W” and “B” typefaces were Futura, while the “L” was the Adobe font Meddon. The L represents tradition, while the W and B represents modernism. There were four different versions of the logo: one color (black), two color (black and yellow), full color (light blue and yellow), and grayscale. The logo was inspired by the 1988 A&E logo. My instructor was impressed by the logo.
